Salary: NJC Grade E SCP12 -17 £26,421 - £28,770 per annum

We know that times are still hard for a lot of our residents. Through our Blackpool Together partnership of local organisations we want to ensure that people can access all the support available to help them with cost of living issues.
We are looking to appoint a Cost of Living support advisor for a period of 24 months.
You will be based in our busy Family Hubs and available to help people with a range of issues including providing support and advice on income and benefit maximisation, fuel poverty issues, advice on the dangers of carbon monoxide, signposting to other local services.
You will have a good understanding of the support available for people struggling with the cost of living and related issues.
We are looking for people that can work well under pressure, that can quickly problem solve, and that are used to dealing with challenging situations on a day to day basis.
Some home visits and working outside of normal office hours may be necessary.
