Contract: Temporary (31st August 2025)
Hours: 27.50 hours per week, Term Time only, plus 1 week
Salary: NJC Grade D SCP7-11 £24,294 - £25,979 per annum, pro rata

We are looking to appoint an experienced Specialist Support Assistant to work with pupils with special educational needs in EYFS/KS1 or KS2.
In this role you will provide support through a bespoke curriculum alongside an EHCP, and you may also be required to support generally in class as well as working with selected individuals and groups of pupils. The successful candidate will have a passionate commitment to ensuring that every child makes academic progress, will be highly effective, flexible, positive and reliable team players.
The successful candidate will also need to have proven skills in Literacy and Numeracy with a minimum of 5 GCSE’s including Maths and English. You will also have a background of working with children aged 4-11 and children with additional needs. This post is temporary to 31st August 2025. The position will commence from September 2024, to be mutually agreed with the successful candidate.
