Job Description

Bolton Music Service (Greater Manchester Music Hub) is seeking to appoint an experienced Primary Music Curriculum teacher. This is an exciting role for a music curriculum specialist to make a difference to the musical lives of children and young people across Bolton, Blackburn with Darwen and Greater Manchester. The ideal candidate will be able to teach music in a range of primary settings, lead and support school choirs, direct performances, and support teachers in schools with training. They will work with a team of curriculum specialists in both Bolton Music Service and the GM Music Hub.

About You

You will be absolutely committed to the value of music in our schools and in our community, and you will be an inspirational advocate for this work, with excellent communication skills. You will have experience of teaching music in a range of settings, and of leading and supporting choirs. You will be very skilled at engaging young people through your own musicianship and also through your highly skilled classroom practice. You will make very positive relationships with colleagues in the music service and in schools and will embrace the opportunity to work alongside other experienced teachers.
