Position Title: Reablement Support Workers
Salary: Grade 4 £20,092 to £21,748 (Bar at £21,322) per annum pro rata (plus 10% flexibility payment)
Contract Type: Permanent part time
Hours: 30 per week - working on a 3 week rota, covering early and late shifts, also working bank holidays and weekends. Shifts between hours of 7.00 am and 10.00 pm.

The Reablement team provides a life changing service to the people of Manchester by helping them to regain or attain as much independence as they can in their own homes. Our Reablement Support Workers do this by motivating and inspiring people to re-learn daily skills and enhance their quality of life. You will be fully trained to assist people to meet their care needs, which can range from motivational support to personal care.

You will work to individualised support/goal plans, with the aim of encouraging people to do these things for themselves, wherever possible. We also promote and supply tech equipment to help people.

We will assist you with gaining your Care Certificate and your Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care, as well as:

This role involves shift work that meets the needs of the citizens, these are typically 8.00 to 14.00 hrs and 16.00 to 22.00 hrs and successful applicants will work on a rota that is provided in advance to cover shifts that also include weekends and bank holidays.
