Sunday 8.00am – 6.00pm

We currently have a need for a Weekend Duty Supervisor to supplement the existing sports centre team at Turton Sports Centre.

The hours will involve working between 8.00am – 6.00pm on a Sunday.  This position could be filled by one person working the full day or a job share would also be considered.

The post holder(s) will be responsible for the supervision of the sports centre in the absence of the Sports Centre Manager and ensuring that established procedures are adhered to and that sports centre users receive a high level of service.

Applicants will be expected to demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills in order to deliver a first class service to users of the centre and liaise with those professionals delivering the sports and leisure services on our behalf. It is important that the Duty Supervisor can work with initiative and be a good team player. Specifically duties will involve dealing with customer enquiries, assisting customers, first aid provision, setting up various sports centre activities and the opening and closing of the sports centre.
