Grade 4 - £11 per hour (£21,222 per annum)

Our school transport team are currently recruiting for Relief Pupil Escort within the Bury area.

If you are reliable and enthusiastic and want to feel part of the community spirit we would welcome your application to join our team.

You will be responsible for the care and welfare of the pupils travelling, ensuring that they reach their destination safely. You will be expected to meet the vehicle at a collection point that will not be your home address.

No previous experience is necessary, full training and uniform will be provided.

There is a need for you to be flexible in your hours and place of work, sometimes receiving changes with very short notice. Crossing patrols are only required to work early in the morning at the start of the school day and mid afternoon at the end of the school day.

The Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare or children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff to share this commitment. Appointment is subject to a satisfactory disclosure at the appropriate level under the Disclosure and Barring Service.
