Actual salary range pro rata: £22,597- £24,606 per annum

Part of the New Bridge Multi Academy Trust, The Springboard Project, provides high quality, innovative and alternative educational experiences for students with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties) across the 14-19 age range.

Our young people experience a personalised approach to their learning. They are taught by fully qualified specialist teachers, industry experts and support staff sensitive to their needs, providing a nurturing and stimulating environment.
Due to the complex nature of our students, high levels of emotional and physical resilience are needed in dealing with challenging behaviour, along with an empathetic, nurturing and non-judgmental approach.
However, the knowledge that our work is making a positive impact in helping our young people to grow and work towards independence brings great reward.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and highly resilient Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our caring and committed team, based in Oldham town centre.

This post will be subject to a number of pre-employment checks including an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and proof of right to work in the UK in accordance with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996. It will be exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. DBS Code of Practice which can be viewed here.

Salary: NJC scale points 5-11: £23,500 – £25,979 per annum (full time equivalent)
Actual salary range pro rata: £22,597- £24,606 per annum
Allowance: SEN allowance - £1,455 per annum
Contracted hours: 36 hours 40 minutes per week / term time plus 5 days (195 days)
Based: Initially at The Springboard Project, 2 Medtia Square, Phoenix St, Oldham, OL1 1AN
