Job Title: SEND Teacher

Hours of Post: 1.0FTE - 32.50 Hours Per Week

Contract Type: Permanent

Start Date of Post: 1^st September 2024

Salary Grade: Main Scale £30,000 to £41,333

We require an outstanding motivational teacher to join our dynamic and hardworking team.  The successful candidate will teach in our SEND base and should have high expectations of what our children can do.

At Vale View, we have 2 intakes a year. The candidate should have a proven track record of high quality teaching.  This post would suit someone with an in-depth knowledge and experience of SEND. A knowledge or willingness to use Makaton in daily teaching is advantageous. Training will be provided.

The successful candidate will be:

•           Have a child centred vision of education

•           Have a thorough knowledge of the national curriculum

•           Be committed to team building and working alongside parents

•           Have strong organisational and interpersonal skills

•           Be able to demonstrate a commitment to CPD

•           Have an in depth knowledge and experience of SEND – especially ASD

•           A strong teacher with experience

•           Have a thorough knowledge of the national curriculum

•           Have a commitment to after school sports and activities and the broader curriculum

•           Have strong organisational and interpersonal skills

•           Be able to demonstrate a commitment to CPD
